50 works of art by artists from across the region and the globe. The exhibition brings together artists involved with the Museum over the last 30 years, but also young artists new to the auction. In 1999, the Museum inaugurated the Autumn Art Auction in order to develop a market for artists from the region and to fund Museum programs. The Auction remains one of the largest fundraisers for programs such as Summer Art Camps, Family Day, exhibitions, concerts, and much more.
Established collectors, parents and grandparents, peers, and new buyers beginning to collect continue to bring more community members wanting to live with original art and support artists. All proceeds are split between the artists and the Museum unless the artist chooses to donate the entire sale to the Museum.
